December has tiptoed in wearing its glittery slippers, and with it comes the official return of the elves! It’s been a wonderfully busy week here at Pink Tree as we’ve prepped, puffed, tied, twisted, and sprinkled magic across the shop in the lead-up to one of our favourite traditions of the year — Elf Returns!

The 1st of December always feels like a tiny firework going off… suddenly the shelves are alive with little faces ready to surprise their families.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already placed their Elf Return order. We’ve loved bringing your festive ideas to life — every one of them has their own little personality, ready to make mischief throughout December.

If you still need an Elf Return for today, don’t worry — the shop is open until 12pm, and you’re welcome to pop in. We can inflate something for you quickly while you have a little browse.

Elf Return Competition Winner

We’re delighted to give a big festive shout-out to Natasha Turcsanyi, the winner of our Elf Return competition! We hope your elf’s grand arrival brings plenty of sparkle and giggles throughout the month.

A Big Festive Display at Amazon, Leyland

This past week, we also set up a large Christmas balloon display for Amazon in Leyland — a bright, joyful festive wall packed with colour and cheer. It’s always a pleasure to help bring a bit of Christmas magic into big spaces, and this one really set the seasonal mood beautifully.

🎀 Christmas Window Competition – Judging This Friday!

Last week we received an exciting letter from the council announcing a brand-new festive initiative for the small businesses of Kirkham High Street — a Christmas Window Display Competition!

We absolutely had to take part, and we’ve had such a fun time bringing it all to life.

✨ One side: Traditional Christmas magic featuring (of course!) beautiful festive balloon décor.
❄️ The other side: A sparkling winter wonderland filled with lots or snowy whites and icy magic.

Judging takes place this Friday, the 21st, and we can’t wait for you to see the full display come together this week. Pop by and take a peek — it definitely will be our most festive window yet!

🎅 Kirkham Christmas Market – This Saturday 22nd (10am–7pm)

The Christmas Market is nearly here, and the whole High Street is getting ready for a wonderful festive day.

The road closes at 8:30am, vendors set up from 9am, and the market officially opens from 10am–7pm. You’ll find us right outside the shop with our festive gazebo, packed full of treats and offers!

We are no longer able to inflate balloons purchased from sellers such as:
– Temu, Shein, AliExpress, Unknown/unbranded foils and latex on Amazon or eBay, etc.

Cheap and untested foil and latex balloons have been found to contain harmful chemicals, and if anything goes wrong once inflated with a reaction or any harm caused, we become liable.

To keep everyone safe, we now only inflate balloons purchased from trusted, regulated brands. We will in future be suppling small helium canisters for those that still want to inflate at home.

We know, we know… it’s only October. But those cheeky elves are already packing their tiny suitcases and preparing for their big return from the North Pole! 🧳

Here at Pink Tree Parties, Elf Return season is one of our favourites of the year — and for 2025, we’ve created 10 brand-new balloon designs to make your elf’s arrival extra special.

Whether you want something sweet, sparkly, traditional or totally magical, there’s a display to suit every family’s Christmas style. Plus, there’s a special October offer waiting for you at the end of this blog 👀

1️⃣ Santa Cam Balloon

Our festive Santa Cam design features a charming Christmas hat box (which can be filled with sweets or chocolates if you’d like), topped with a gold globe featuring the Santa Cam design — and of course, your cheeky elf dangling from above, ready to keep an eye on the little ones.

2️⃣ Up-Inspired House Balloon (Staff Favourite)
