It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Pink Tree Parties, so we thought we’d have a little catch-up and share What’s New, What’s Next, and What’s Happening behind the scenes.

From Halloween bargains and upcoming Elf Returns to a beautiful local wedding venue and some of the things we’ve been creating recently, here’s a little bit of what’s been keeping us busy!

🎈 Behind The Scenes

We’ve had a busy couple of weeks behind the scenes, with everything from corporate work to celebrations and events.

Rather than filling you in with lots of words, here are just a few of the things we’ve been creating recently…

The pictures can do the talking! 💗

Why We Love a Bespoke Celebration

One of our favourite things about what we do is that no two celebrations are ever quite the same.

Sometimes customers come into the shop knowing exactly what they want. Other times, we get the classic:

“I have absolutely no idea… can you help?” 😂

And honestly, we love the second one just as much.

You might bring us a colour, a theme, an invitation, a photograph you’ve saved on your phone or simply tell us what you’re celebrating — and that’s enough for us to start working with.

From there, we can help you choose the colours, balloons and style that will work best for your space and occasion.

Because for us, it’s not just about picking a balloon off a shelf. It’s about creating something that feels right for your celebration.

You bring us the idea. We’ll help bring it to life. 🎈

💗 Venue Recommendation: Garstang Country Hotel

We recently spent the day at Garstang Country Hotel as one of the lovely suppliers at their wedding fair.

What a beautiful venue for a wedding or special celebration! Set in the Lancashire countryside, it’s definitely one to keep in mind if you’re looking for somewhere for your next event.

🧝‍♀️ Elf Returns… With A Little Extra!

Planning your Elf Return this year?

We’re offering 10% off our Elf Return balloons when ordered before 31st October!

It’s never too early to get that all-important elf entrance sorted — especially before the Christmas chaos begins! 😉

💡 Did You Know?

Planning a themed children’s party?

If you give us enough notice, we can source matching party decorations for you, from balloons, banners and bunting to tableware, including plates, cups, tablecloths and more.

Tell us your theme and we’ll do the matching for you! 💗

---

From Us to You 💗

As always, a huge thank you to everyone who continues to support our little shop.

We really do appreciate every order, every visit and every person who follows along with what we’re getting up to.

Lots of love,
The Pink Tree Girls 💗

How are we already halfway through September?! 😳

It honestly feels like we’ve only just finished summer, but October is creeping up very quickly. And if you’ve been out shopping recently, you’ll probably have noticed that the Halloween and Christmas displays are already appearing in the larger shops!

So, we thought it was about time for your little reminder from us…

It’s time to get those Halloween, Elf Return and Christmas orders booked! 🎃🧝‍♀️🎄

---

Why Pre-Order?

If you’ve got something specific in mind, pre-ordering means your order is booked into our diary and made especially for you.

We’ll know exactly what you want, have the products ready and can create your design in the colours, wording and style you’ve chosen.

That means no last-minute “I’m really sorry, we’re out of stock of that one!” 😬

Getting your order booked early is the best way to avoid disappointment — especially as we get closer to those busy dates.

---

Halloween Is Coming! 👻

Whether you’re looking for something big and impressive, a cute tabletop decoration or a little balloon gift for the kids, we’ve got lots of Halloween inspiration available to order.

And if you can’t quite find what you’re looking for, don’t worry! We can create something bespoke too.

Tell us what you’re imagining and we’ll see what we can come up with.

More Spooky Ideas Are On The Way…

We’re not finished with Halloween just yet!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be adding some brand-new spooky ideas to our collection, including fun Boo balloons, trick-or-treat gifts and plenty of other Halloween inspiration.

So if you haven’t found the one yet, keep checking back — there’s more coming! 🎃👻

You can also keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for new designs as they’re released.

---

Get Those Christmas Orders In! 🎄

It might feel far too early to be talking about Christmas, but we promise you…

It’ll be here before we know it! 😂

Christmas is one of our busiest times of year, which is why we always recommend getting your orders booked as early as possible.

Whether you’re looking for a Christmas Eve surprise, a personalised display beside the tree, a festive balloon gift or something to make the whole family smile, we’ve got plenty of options to choose from.

And remember, lots of our designs can be personalised with your own colours, names and wording, so if you have something special in mind, just ask!

🧝‍♀️ The Elves Are Coming Back!

Love them or loathe them, there’s no escaping it…

The elves will be back before we know it! 😂

We’ve got lots of different Elf Return balloons and displays to choose from, ranging from smaller designs to bigger statement pieces.

There are lots of colours, styles and personalisation options available, so you can make your elf’s grand entrance as simple or as spectacular as you like!

✨ And We’re Still Creating!

Our Christmas and Elf Return collections will continue to grow over the next few weeks, with new designs being added throughout the season.

So whether you’re looking for something traditional, colourful, personalised, funny or completely different, keep checking back to see what’s new.

And if you have an idea that you can’t see on our website, get in touch! We love creating something that’s completely unique to you.

---

Don’t Leave It Until The Last Minute!

The Ber months are flying by, and before we know it we’ll be surrounded by pumpkins, Christmas trees and mischievous elves! 🎃🎄🧝‍♀️

If you already know what you’d like, get it booked now and tick it off your list.

You can order online for Click & Collect, pop into our Kirkham shop, or contact us if you’d like to chat through a bespoke idea.

And keep an eye on our social media too — we’ll be sharing plenty of seasonal inspiration, new designs and reminders as we get closer to the big days.

---

From Us to You 💗

And, as always, a huge thank you to everyone who has already placed their Halloween, Christmas and Elf Return orders with us.

It’s always lovely seeing our diary start to fill up with those seasonal bookings and knowing that our little shop is going to be helping so many families celebrate over the next few months.

We genuinely appreciate every order, every recommendation, every visit to the shop and every person who follows along with what we’re getting up to.

We know we say it every week, but we really do mean it — your support means so much to our small business. 💗

So, if you’ve been thinking about getting your Halloween, Elf Return or Christmas order booked…

This is your little nudge! 👀🎈

Lots of love,
The Pink Tree Girls 💗

Hello everyone! 💗

Well… it’s been a very unusually quiet week here at Pink Tree Parties! 👀

Where Is Everybody?!

We’re not quite sure where everybody has disappeared to, but our balloons are certainly missing you! 😂🎈

We know the summer holidays can be a funny time for businesses, with everyone off enjoying themselves, but if you’ve got a birthday, celebration, party or event coming up, we’d love for you to think of us when you’re looking for your balloons.

As a small independent business on Kirkham High Street, every order really does make a difference to us. Whether you need one personalised balloon, a few birthday balloons or a full venue installation, we’d love to help.

You can pop into the shop, give us a call, send us a message or browse our website and pre-order from the comfort of your sofa.

Please don’t forget about your local balloon shop! 💗

---

🛍️ A Little Look Behind the Scenes

Although the orders have been a little thin on the ground this week, that certainly doesn’t mean we’ve been sitting around twiddling our thumbs!

We’ve been using the quieter moments to catch up on all those jobs that are much harder to get done when we’re running around creating balloons and setting up events.

We’ve been tidying, organising, sorting stock rooms and generally giving everything a bit of a reset.

There’s something very satisfying about getting everything back where it belongs… although I’m sure it won’t stay that way for long! 😂

There is actually a surprising amount that goes on behind the scenes at Pink Tree Parties that you don’t necessarily see — from keeping stock organised and checking what needs reordering to planning future displays, updating the website and preparing for the busier seasons ahead.

So even when the shop looks quiet, there’s always something happening behind the scenes.

---

🎈 Have You Seen Our Click and Collect Section Lately?

If you’re looking for balloons for an upcoming celebration, have you had a browse through our website recently?

We’ve got lots of different designs available to pre-order for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, weddings, congratulations, seasonal celebrations and so much more.

And if you see something you like but want to change the colours, wording or design, we’re always happy to create something a little more bespoke.

You don’t have to wait until you’re ready to collect either — pre-ordering means you can get your balloons booked in advance and tick one more thing off your to-do list! 💗

---

🍂🎃🎄 The Busy Seasons Are Coming…

Okay, we’re definitely not in full autumn, Halloween and Christmas mode just yet…

But they are absolutely on the agenda! 👀

Halloween and Christmas, including Elf Returns, are already available to pre-order on our website, so if you’re one of those organised people who likes to get everything booked nice and early, you can already tick those off your list.

Everything is there ready for you to browse, personalise and pre-order, so you can get it sorted now and not have to worry about it later.

And I have to admit…

While the shop may not be in full festive mode just yet, I certainly am! 😂

My house is currently covered in pumpkins, witches and ghosts because autumn is my absolute favourite season… but you’ll probably find me singing Christmas songs while I’m putting them all out because Christmas is by far my favourite holiday! 🎃🎄

Autumn decorations + Christmas music = completely acceptable in my world. 😂

---

🎒 And Just Like That… August Has Come to an End!

I honestly can’t believe how quickly August has flown by! These summer holidays really have gone by in the blink of an eye.

Although I’m sure for some of you with children, you’re probably thinking “Bring on September!” 😂

With the new school year just around the corner, we know we’ve mentioned Back to School balloons a few times already, but if you’re still looking for something for those all-important first day of school photos, there’s still time to get your order in!

Whether it’s their first day of primary school, starting high school, heading into their final year or even starting college, we can create something to make that first-day photo a little more special. 🎒🎈

We have lots of designs available to pre-order on our website, and remember, they don’t have to stay exactly as you see them. Colours, wording and personalisation can all be changed, or if you’ve got your own idea, we’d be more than happy to create something completely bespoke.

And… good luck with those hectic early mornings again! 😂

---

🎈 Just How Much Can We Create?

Sometimes it’s easy to see a particular balloon display and think, “Oh, that’s what Pink Tree does.”

But the truth is, we can create so much more!

From balloon bouquets and number stacks to large backdrops, organic garlands, columns and statement displays, through to ceiling balloons, floor balloons, table decorations, personalised balloons, gumballs, bubble balloons and venue styling — there really are countless possibilities.

We can decorate homes, venues, hotels and lodges, create something small and simple or go all out with a much larger installation.

The photos below are just a small selection of some of the displays we’ve created over the years, showing just how varied our work can be.

So, if you’ve got an idea in your head but can’t quite find exactly what you’re looking for on our website, don’t be afraid to ask!

We love bringing your ideas to life, and no celebration is too big or too small. 💗🎈

📍 Kirkham Corner

If you’re heading into Kirkham this week, why not have a little wander around and see what our lovely high street has to offer?

Fancy a coffee? Pop into 1860 and give them a try. ☕
Looking for a gift? Have a browse in Serendipity House. 🎁
Want to treat yourself to something new to wear? Lily B’s is definitely worth a look! 👗
Need some beautiful flowers? Bloom & Blossom has you covered. 🌸

We also have a fantastic selection of charity shops along the high street, so there’s always something worth having a rummage through.

And if you’re feeling hungry, we’d definitely recommend Elvin’s for lunch — their food is amazing! 😋

Kirkham really does have so much to offer, and we’re very lucky to have such a lovely selection of independent businesses right on our doorstep. 💗

---

💗 A Little Reminder to Shop Local

As you’ve probably gathered from this week’s blog, we’re very lucky to have such a fantastic selection of independent businesses here in Kirkham.

So, whether you’re looking for a coffee, a gift, something new to wear, flowers, lunch or simply fancy having a browse, please remember to shop local whenever you can. 💗

You’ve already had a little look at some of the businesses you can find around our high street earlier in this blog, and we’d love to see you supporting them just as much as you’d support us.

Of course, we’d absolutely love to see more of you popping through the Pink Tree doors too! 😂🎈 But supporting local isn’t just about one business.

It’s about keeping our independent shops, cafés and businesses here in Kirkham, because they’re what make our town what it is.

Every purchase, coffee, lunch, gift, balloon or browse makes a difference to a small business.

So next time you’re thinking about where to spend your money, think local first. 💗

---

💗 From Us to You

As usual, we always like to finish with a little appreciation and a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered from us this past week, popped into the shop or even just stopped by for a chat and to discuss ideas for an upcoming party or event.

We genuinely appreciate every single person who walks through our doors and supports us, whether you’ve popped in to grab something as small as a pack of candles, picked a balloon from our spinner, or placed a large booking with us.

And it’s not just orders that make a difference. To everyone who recommends us to a friend, signs up to or read our newsletters, follows us on social media or simply keeps an eye on what we’re getting up to — thank you! 💗

Every little bit of support means something to our small business, and we really do appreciate it more than you know.

And if you’ve been thinking about ordering something from us…

This is your little nudge! 👀🎈

We’d absolutely love to see you.

Lots of love,
The Pink Tree Girls 💗

Hello everyone! 💗

How are we all doing? We hope you’ve been enjoying the gorgeous weather we’ve had recently and making the most of the sunshine. Although, looking at the forecast, it looks like the weather may be taking a little turn next week… so enjoy it while it lasts! ☀️

Did anyone manage to catch the partial solar eclipse on Wednesday 12th August? 🌙☀️

I certainly did! I headed down to the beach with my makeshift cereal-box eclipse viewer, which I have to admit, I wasn’t convinced was actually going to work! 😂

Surprisingly… it did! And I was rather impressed with myself. Sometimes you just have to work with what you’ve got!

As always, we’ve got A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That… to share with you this week, from a few handy balloon-care tips to a little look behind the scenes at Pink Tree, what we’ve been up to recently and even a little insight into what Paula gets up to when she’s not in the shop.

So, grab yourself a cuppa and have a little read! 💗

---

🎈 Balloon Care: A Little Tip From Us

Want to make the most out of your balloons? Here’s something you might not know!

Temperature can have quite an effect on helium-filled balloons.

In warm temperatures, helium expands. As the helium expands, it puts more pressure on the balloon and causes it to stretch. If it gets too hot, the balloon can only stretch so far before it may eventually pop.

In cooler temperatures, helium contracts. This can make your balloon look softer, smaller or even slightly deflated. Don’t panic though! Once the balloon returns to a warmer temperature, the helium will expand again and the balloon should return to its usual size.

So, if your balloons suddenly look a little different after being taken outside in the cold, don’t worry — give them time to adjust to the temperature before assuming there’s a problem!

And during warmer summer days, try to keep helium balloons out of direct sunlight and away from excessive heat to help them last as long as possible. 💗🎈

---

♻️ Did You Know? We Recycle Our Balloon Waste

We don’t simply throw all of our balloon waste into the bin!

Where possible, our foil balloon waste is collected through our TerraCycle recycling programme, helping to divert suitable waste away from general landfill and towards specialist recycling.

And did you know that latex balloons are made from natural rubber harvested from rubber trees?

We always encourage balloons to be disposed of responsibly and never released outdoors, but it’s always nice to know a little more about the materials we work with every day. 🌱

It’s just one of the little things we do behind the scenes that you might not necessarily see.

🎈 Behind Pink Tree: Did You Know Paula Is a Balloon Trainer?

You might know Paula as one of the owners of Pink Tree Parties, but did you know she also works as a professional balloon trainer?

Pink Tree Parties has been providing balloon training since 2017, helping hundreds of students develop their balloon businesses and skills.

Paula is an Approved Instructor for NABAS (National Association of Balloon Artists & Suppliers) and also a UK Brand Ambassador for Grabo Balloons, keeping her right at the heart of the professional balloon industry.

Training takes place from our fully equipped training room above the Pink Tree Parties shop, with group courses, one-to-one training and bespoke classes available. Paula also travels throughout the UK and Europe to deliver training and has taught at major industry events.

From balloon basics and business courses to organic designs, air-filled centrepieces, Aqua Balloons and specialist techniques, there’s a whole range of training available.

And if face-to-face training isn’t for you, there’s also the Balloon Academy — our online training platform, allowing you to learn at your own pace from the comfort of your own home.

Interested in learning more?

You can book training directly through our website, find upcoming courses through the NABAS website, keep an eye on our social media pages, give the shop a call or email Paula directly at paula@pinktreeparties.co.uk.

There’s plenty of ways to find out more — and you can even speak to Paula herself about what type of training would suit you! 🎈

👀 A Little Look Behind the Scenes

What actually happens before your balloons leave Pink Tree?

It isn’t quite as simple as ordering a balloon and us having it ready five minutes later! 😂

First comes the enquiry, then the designing, choosing colours, checking stock and going through all the different options available.

And sometimes there are A LOT of options! 😆

Once everything is decided, we pick and bag all the materials needed for your order, making sure we have everything ready. If we don’t, we’ll get it ordered in.

Then comes the fun part… creating your balloons!

Finally, everything gets checked, finished, packaged up and handed over or prepared for delivery.

There’s actually a lot that goes on behind the scenes before your finished display ever reaches you!

🎓 GCSE Results Day Is Nearly Here!

GCSE Results Day is this Thursday!

Whether you’re celebrating fantastic results, supporting someone who has worked incredibly hard, or simply want to show them how proud you are, we’ve got plenty of options to help make the day extra special.

We have a selection of pre-printed Congratulations balloons available in the shop, ready to grab and go.

But if you want something a little more personal, we can create something completely bespoke! 🎈

Think personalised balloons, floor-standing displays, big or small designs, colours of your choice and your own personal message — all created especially for them.

Because sometimes a simple “Congratulations!” deserves to be made a little more special and memorable. 💗

Don’t leave it until the last minute — get your order in today!

---

🍂 Is It Too Early To Mention Autumn?

Okay… I know I said I wouldn’t be changing the shop window to autumn just yet…

And I have kept my promise! 😉

The window is still firmly in summer mode.

I can’t say the same for my house though… 😂

Let’s just say the pumpkins, acorns and pine cones have already made an appearance and my home is officially giving FULL autumn vibes. 🍂🎃

But while I’m resisting the urge to transform the shop window just yet, we are starting to think about our autumn and Halloween designs and displays.

We’ve got some lovely new balloons coming that we’re really looking forward to showing you, and I’ve also been brainstorming the idea of some Pink Tree-style Boo Boxes / Boo Gifts for Halloween.

It’s still very much in the brainstorming stage at the moment, but you may see a little mock-up appearing soon if I decide to go ahead with the idea! 👀🎃

Watch this space…

---

🛍️ A Little Shop Update

There’s been a little reshuffle in the shop recently, and we’ve added a few new sections to make choosing your balloons even easier!

Our Birthday Super Shape balloons are now proudly on display rather than hiding away at the side, so you can actually see all the options available and choose your favourite.

We’ve also made our air-filled table and floor-standing balloons, balloon bundles and air walkers much easier to browse.

Our balloon bundles are particularly handy — themed balloons that work beautifully together, so you can simply pick your favourite bundle, and we’ll inflate and style everything onto one weight for you.

And there’s more new stock on the way too! We’re placing another order over the next week or two, with some exciting new bits and pieces coming in.

Keep your eyes peeled! 👀💗

---

💗 From Us To You

It’s been another busy week here at Pink Tree Parties, and Saturday in particular was a bit of a whirlwind!

We were in and out of the shop with deliveries for all sorts of celebrations, including an engagement party, an 80th birthday and a 21st birthday, alongside a handful of collections from the shop for completely different displays.

It’s always lovely seeing the variety of celebrations that come through our doors.

So, as always, a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered with us this week — and to everyone who has already booked us for celebrations coming up over the next few weeks.

Every order, recommendation, kind word and returning customer genuinely means so much to our little business. 💗

Thank you for continuing to support Pink Tree Parties!

---

📱 Don’t Forget…

If you’ve got someone celebrating their GCSE results, don’t leave it until the last minute!

You can contact us through social media, email, by giving the shop a call or popping in to see us.

We’ll help you find the perfect way to say Congratulations! 🎈

Thank you for reading this week’s blog and for continuing to support our little shop in the heart of Kirkham.

Lots of love,
The Pink Tree Girls 💗

Hello August! 👋

If you’ve been reading our weekly blogs for a while, you may notice something looks a little different this week for A Fresh New Look… and a Fresh New Feel!

We thought it was about time our blogs had a little refresh, and whilst balloons will always be at the heart of what we do, we’d love to share a little more of life here at Pink Tree Parties too.

I’m Danni, the voice behind our weekly newsletters, blogs and the majority of our social media. Every week I love sharing our latest creations, ideas and everything that’s been happening both in and around the shop.

Going forward, alongside plenty of balloon inspiration, you’ll also find behind-the-scenes moments, updates from around Kirkham, exciting projects, seasonal ideas and little snippets of everyday life here at Pink Tree. We hope you’ll enjoy getting to know us a little better!

It’s hard to believe we’re already into August. Whether you’re making the most of the school holidays or secretly counting down until the kids head back to school (we won’t judge! 😂), we’ve got lots going on behind the scenes.

---

📚 Looking Ahead – Back to School

Although we’re only halfway through the summer holidays, our Back to School balloon collection is already available to pre-order on our website.

We’ve already added lots of different designs ready for the new school term, but if you have something a little different in mind, we’d love to create something completely bespoke just for you.

Over the next few weeks we’ll also be adding even more new designs, so keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest additions.

🍂 Autumn is Calling…

I’m not going to lie… I’m already excited!

Autumn has always been my favourite time of year. I absolutely love working with burnt oranges, sage greens, deep reds and all those gorgeous warm autumn shades that start appearing this time of year.

The shop window isn’t changing just yet—I promise!—but behind the scenes we’re already planning some beautiful autumn displays that I can’t wait to share with you.

---

👻 Can You Believe It?

Believe it or not, we’ve already started chatting about Halloween… and even Christmas!

Our seasonal balloon ranges have already started arriving and, yes… we’ve even mentioned Elf Return balloons!

It may feel a little early, but we always like to be organised so we’re ready when the festive season begins.

---

💡 Did You Know?

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice over the coming weeks is the variety within our blogs.

Of course we’ll still be sharing lots of balloon inspiration, but we’re also looking forward to bringing you:

• Behind-the-scenes moments
• Meet the team features
• What’s happening around Kirkham
• Balloon tips and inspiration

📍 Kirkham Corner

We hope everyone who attended Kirkham Pride had a fantastic day yesterday!

It’s always lovely seeing our town come together to celebrate local events and support our wonderful community. We’re incredibly proud to be part of Kirkham and can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store.

As our newsletters continue to evolve, we’ll also be sharing more local news, events and recommendations from around our lovely town whenever there’s something exciting to tell you about.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this week’s blog.

We hope you enjoy our fresh new look just as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it. This is just the beginning, and we’re really looking forward to sharing even more with you over the coming months.
