Balloons, Displays & Themes: Where Do You Even Start?
When you’re planning a party or event, you might know your colours, have a theme in mind, or simply know that you want lots of balloons! π
But when you start looking at all the different options available, it can be a little overwhelming.

So this week, we’re taking a look at just a few of the different balloon displays we can create β from smaller balloon gifts to bigger installations β and how they can all be adapted to suit your celebration.

Globes & Bubble Balloons π
There are so many ways you can make a globe or bubble balloon completely your own!
From personalised details to filling them with confetti, feathers, beads and more, there are lots of possibilities for creating something a little bit different.
Whether you keep it simple or make it extra special, these balloons can be tailored to suit almost any celebration.
Balloon Bouquets π
Balloon bouquets are a great option when you want a lovely collection of balloons without going for a larger installation.
They can be big or small and made up of a mixture of latex balloons and foils. You can add numbers, themed balloons, larger foils or smaller details to create a bouquet that’s completely suited to your occasion.
Balloon Stacks π
Looking for something with a little more impact?
Balloon stacks are made using air-filled latex balloons and finished with a number, large foil or another feature balloon at the top.
They’re a great way to create a statement display while also giving you something that’s designed to last that little bit longer thanks to being air-filled.
So… What’s Your Theme? π¨
This is where things can get really exciting!
When you’re planning a party or event, you don’t necessarily need to know exactly what balloon display you want. Sometimes, all you need is an idea.
Maybe you’re planning a Paw Patrol or Peppa Pig birthday, looking for Disney balloons, or wanting to bring a favourite film, character or hobby to life.
We’ve created all sorts of themed displays over the years, including a beautiful Alice in Wonderland setup for a 21st birthday, where we brought together balloons, cut-outs and other props to create a whole themed display.
But your theme doesn’t have to be a particular character or story.
Maybe it’s simply lemons! π
An Italian-inspired celebration with lemons, pale blues and fresh styling can be just as effective as a fully themed party.
Once you’ve got an idea of your theme, colours or even just the general feel you’re looking for, that’s where we can help bring it all together.
We can combine different balloon styles, personalised details, licensed balloons, numbers, props, cut-outs, backdrops and more to create something that’s completely suited to your celebration.

Garlands are another really versatile option.
You could choose a smaller grab-and-go garland that you can take home and attach yourself, or go bigger with a full installation around a backdrop, doorway or event space.
They can be simple or dramatic, and can also be combined with backdrops, easels and other decorative elements to create a complete feature area.

Balloon Columns π
Columns are a great way to make an impact without necessarily needing a huge installation.
You can keep them simple with a classic spiral design or make them a little more unusual with different shapes, details and decorative toppers.
And, of course, they can be created in your chosen colours and personalised to suit the occasion.
Stuffing Balloons π
Want something a little different?
Stuffing balloons are a fun way to turn a balloon into a gift!
You can have all sorts of things inside, from small gifts and squishy toys to vouchers, messages and little surprises.
We can also create air-filled stuffed balloons, including our Aqua balloons, which can become more of a keepsake. Think artificial flowers, a special message or a little collection of gifts inside.
